ABOUT
I started writing professionally while working at the Shiley-Marcos UCSD Alzheimer's Disease Research Center. Transitioning from a clinical role, I became the center's patient recruiter; marketing research to generate interest in study participation. What started with caregiver newsletters, advertising campaigns, presentations in the community and other tactics as a "nice change of pace" became a lifelong career.
Since then, I have been marketing and writing for agencies and corporations, mostly in healthcare and medical devices. I find that deliberate content writing is both a science and an art form and – as both – extremely effective in driving consumer behavior.
